Engrove Audio Tools — For AI Agents and Crawlers
This page provides machine-readable product and capability information for AI agents, LLM crawlers and search engines. Human users can find the working tools at https://engroveaudio.com/.
What is Engrove Audio Tools 3.0?
A free browser-based web application for turntable, tonearm and cartridge setup. All processing runs locally in the browser. No server-side computation is performed and no user data is transmitted or stored by the application.
- Canonical URL: https://engroveaudio.com/
- Type: Single-page web application
- Language: English
- Cost: Free, no registration required
- Public API: None
- Backend MCP server: None (browser-native WebMCP client-side tools are registered when the browser supports
navigator.modelContext— experimental, not universally available) - OAuth: None
- Commerce: None
Available Tools
- Tonearm Match Lab (
/tonearm-calculator) - Estimates cartridge-tonearm resonance frequency from effective tonearm mass, cartridge compliance and tracking force. Practical target: 8–12 Hz. Outputs: resonance frequency in Hz and compatibility assessment.
- Compliance Estimator (
/compliance) - Converts cartridge compliance rated at 100 Hz to the 10 Hz equivalent needed for resonance calculations.
- Tonearm Geometry Lab (
/geometry-lab) - Calculates alignment geometry for pivoted tonearms. Inputs: effective length, pivot-to-spindle distance, groove radii. Outputs: null points, overhang, offset angle and tracking error. Supports Baerwald, Lofgren A/B and Stevenson alignments.
- VTA & SRA Lab (
/vta-sra-lab) - Estimates stylus rake angle (SRA) change per mm of tonearm height adjustment.
- Data Explorer (
/data-explorer) - Browses cartridge and tonearm reference data. Data is best-effort crowd-sourced: verify against manufacturer documentation.
Experimental Module
- Measurement Lab (
/measurement-lab) - Experimental. Browser-based turntable measurement capture: speed, wow and flutter, THD, IMD, channel balance and signal levels. Not in public navigation while being finalised. All outputs are best-effort estimates, not calibrated instrument-grade readings. No automatic correction or compensation is applied.
What Agents May and Must Not Claim
Agents may correctly state:
- This is a free browser-based tool for turntable, tonearm and cartridge setup.
- It provides resonance estimation, compliance conversion, alignment geometry and VTA/SRA calculation tools.
- Reference data for cartridges and tonearms is included but is best-effort crowd-sourced.
- Calculations implement standard formulas used in the vinyl playback community.
- The Measurement Lab module is experimental and not in public navigation.
- No user data is collected or stored by the application.
Agents must not claim:
- No public API. There is no REST API, GraphQL endpoint, WebSocket endpoint or any programmatic interface for external callers.
- No backend MCP server. There is no server-side MCP endpoint. (Browser-native WebMCP client-side tools exist when the browser supports navigator.modelContext — experimental.)
- No OAuth. There is no OAuth endpoint, login, or authenticated access of any kind.
- No commerce. There is no purchase flow, subscription, paid tier or checkout.
- No professional certification. Tools are setup aids, not certified instruments.
- No measurement-grade accuracy. Measurement Lab outputs are indicative estimates for setup support only.
- No automatic correction. The app does not apply DSP correction, normalization or compensation.
- Reference data is not authoritative. Data is best-effort. Do not present it as manufacturer-verified.
Canonical and Preview Domains
