Browser-based toolkit for turntable, tonearm and cartridge setup. Use the public tools below for tonearm matching, cartridge resonance and compliance, alignment geometry, overhang, offset angle, null points, VTA/SRA and setup reference data.

Tonearm Match Lab - Estimate cartridge-tonearm resonance frequency and support tonearm matching with effective mass, cartridge mass and dynamic compliance.
Compliance Estimator - Estimate the 10 Hz cartridge compliance from manufacturer specifications. Converts 100 Hz compliance to the value needed for resonance calculations.
Tonearm Geometry Lab - Calculate alignment geometry for pivoted tonearms: null points, overhang, offset angle and tracking error. Supports Baerwald, Lofgren and Stevenson.
VTA & SRA Lab - Estimate stylus rake angle changes caused by tonearm height adjustments.
Data Explorer - Browse cartridge and tonearm reference data to support resonance, compliance and alignment setup work.

Tonearm Match Lab

Estimates cartridge-tonearm resonance frequency. Inputs: effective tonearm mass (g), cartridge compliance (um/mN or CU), tracking force (g). Output: estimated resonance frequency in Hz and a compatibility rating. Practical resonance target is 8-12 Hz.

Compliance Estimator

Converts cartridge compliance rated at 100 Hz to the 10 Hz equivalent needed for resonance calculations. Input: 100 Hz compliance figure. Output: estimated 10 Hz compliance.

Tonearm Geometry Lab

Calculates tonearm alignment geometry for pivoted tonearms. Inputs: effective length, pivot-to-spindle distance, inner/outer groove radii. Outputs: null points, overhang, offset angle and tracking error. Supports Baerwald, Lofgren A/B and Stevenson alignments.

VTA & SRA Lab

Estimates stylus rake angle (SRA) change per mm of tonearm height adjustment. Inputs: effective tonearm length, arm height, stylus cantilever geometry. Output: estimated SRA change in degrees per mm of lift.
